Don't you find it odd that people need to deal with lawyers, wills, life insurance, funeral arrangements, etc after losing a loved one? I wouldn't be able to do it. Knowing me, I'd curl up in a ball and stay in bed for about a week or ten. I guess I need to man up, huh. Can't deal with problems like that in this "real world" we all live in.

I'm doing pretty well, actually. Talking to my mom again! We pretty much pretend our argument never took place.

She'll be back after she deals with his lawyer. The guy just passed today. She's a strong woman and I'm definitely going to have her back. As odd as this may seem, I'm certainly no stranger to dealing with the loss of a loved one. Hell, I've grown accustomed to close family members dying n my family over the years. So based off of experience, I'm able to help her out. So we're good; there's never a hurdle too high to leap.

How are you holding up?

I haven't worked out details w/ Michel yet. Things are still in the "hey, this would be a fun idea" stage and not in the "ok, this is how it's gonna happen" stage. He does know I might be coming, though :)

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you know when she's getting back? Is she holding up alright? Chin up, sir, things always get better. =/

She's still in Chicago dealing with her family issue. So not much has changed.

You're going to DC? Have you and Michel set something up yet?

Be careful. I hate when people try to caution me about my relationships but there's no reason for you to get your heart broken if you can prevent it from happening. On the other hand, if things can work out, then you have all the support in the world from me.

i can tell! i replied too. haha, you can tell how much work i have by how much time i spend online. most people decrease their online shenanigans when they're busy, but for me, nooo... my procrastination knows no bounds.

I replied. I haven't been around lately because of missions, but as my time winds down here, I'll be spending less and less time out in the streets of Baghdad. A LOT has happened.
